+ When I was a child, my mother called me "Mari, my little bird." This name has always been special to me, full of the feeling of flight. Art, for me, is like a free bird that travels to the farthest corners of the world in the boundless sky of imagination. Every time I create something new, I feel as if I am spreading my wings and soaring along with my imagination. At first, my brand was named "Yellow Bird," symbolizing a lone bird flying through its own sky of dreams. But now, with the amazing children with Down Syndrome joining this journey, we are no longer alone. "Yellow Birds" is our new name; a group that grows larger, more vibrant, and more united every day. The color yellow has always followed me like a shadow; a color that brings energy, joy, and freshness. "Yellow Birds" embodies love, creativity, and the endless strength we build together as we fly higher and grow stronger every day.
I’M MARI
+ I am MARAL FOROUZESH, born in Tehran. Illustrator, Graphic designer and Animator. A patient and risk-taking person who loves new experiences and creative adventures. Along with all this, kindness and tenderness have always been with me. I love cycling and have a special fondness for colorful socks! The number seven has always been lucky for me and my ears are so sharp that I might be able to hear the sound of the breeze!My interest in art stems from my childhood. When my mother was telling me stories, she would light a candle and bring the characters of the story to life with the shadow of her hands on the big white wall. The next day I used to depict those stories in my world with different pieces of paper. From that time, art for me was a flight in the world of imagination, where I could depict anything and bring reality to life.

ARTISTIC SERVICE
+ This is a gift from YELLOW BIRD and MAZDAK to you. This collection contains 77 pieces of MAZDAK’s paintings. You can choose a few pieces and I will combine them with my artistic world and create a unique and special artwork for you. The end result will be a special POSTCARD that represents our bond with these children. I will also allocate 7% of the sale of my works to buy painting supplies for children with Down syndrome, so that they can continue their creativity and art.

+ My acquaintance with Down syndrome children started through my brother MAZDAK (a boy with Down syndrome). As a starting point, he introduced me to a world of emotions and intimacy that I had never experienced before. With his pure feeling, he ignited a wonderful spark of love for these special children in my heart. This was the beginning that led me to teach creativity to these amazing children. This experience for me is full of lessons that cannot be easily forgotten. They brought me to a world of creativity, honesty and acceptance where every piece I create is not only filled with art, but with love and human connection.

Entering the blockchain world has been very interesting and exciting for me. This technology has allowed me to show my artwork to the world, share it with a global audience, and make many artists friendsI've been reading about blockchains and I've come to the conclusion that the Ethereum and TEZOS blockchains are perfect for my works. + The mission of Yellow Bird is to introduce a new world of book illustration to the art and publishing industry, where two different worlds come together to convey a message of diversity, beauty, and uniqueness to viewers.
Yellow Bird seeks to create a future where children with Down Syndrome are recognized as great and creative artists. The main goal is to provide a platform where these children can be present in society as independent and valuable artists, and feel a sense of worth through their art.
Yellow Bird also aims to foster artistic entrepreneurship for these children, helping them achieve financial independence and be introduced to the community, each playing their part in this creative world. Ultimately, a more ambitious goal lies ahead: the establishment of an art school for individuals with Down Syndrome, where their creativity will flourish, and art will be used as a tool for transformation and empowerment.
